Dominika Bojanowska, a Warsaw University alumna (English literature and linguistics, MA), has eighteen years’ experience in the Polish market first at Graal and most recently at AJA Warsaw. She handles Polish and Eastern European rights for major Anglophone agencies and publishers.
Beata Glinska, a Masurian University alumna (Journalism, BA), brings a wealth of experience across the creative industries in Poland, covering music, dance and literature. She has more than five years’ experience negotiating translation deals for UK and US clients across Eastern Europe. An avid reader of non-fiction, commercial fiction and fantasy.
Ania Walczak, a Warsaw University alumna (Eastern Slavic Studies, BA), she specialized in Ukrainian, Russian and English translation. Ania has seven years’ experience placing translation rights for clients across Eastern Europe. Ania’s passion is exploring antique shops in every corner of the world she visits, always on the lookout for hidden gems.
Aleksandra (Aleks) Szugajew holds an MA in English literature from the University of Warsaw. She first started in publishing working alongside Dominika Bojanowska at AJA Warsaw as a literary agent’s assistant and later junior agent. Then, she decided to leave the literary world to pursue her interests in academia, where she got the chance to publish papers and speak at international conferences. Aleks returned to publishing in March 2024, when she joined the ANA Kyiv team as a translation rights agent. In her free time, she likes doing crossfit or yoga and she’s always on the lookout for new crystals to add to her collection.
Agnieszka Zawistowska entered the world of publishing in 2019 after obtaining a master’s degree in English Philology at the University of Warsaw. She gained her professional experience leading and coordinating administration departments of both AJA Warsaw and AJA France. She joined ANA Kyiv in 2023 as Head of Administration, assuring swift and comprehensive processing of contracts and payments. In her spare time Agnieszka enjoys reading contemporary fiction and reportage. When she’s not working or reading, you can spot her at the gym, by the lakeshore or in the woods.
Olga Wodecka joined ANA Kyiv in February 2024. She supports the agent’s team as a literary assistant. Prior to this, she worked at a well-known English bookstore in Warsaw. She’s an avid reader and proud cat owner.
Ksenia Melnyk, a Warsaw University alumna (Polish literature and linguistics, BA), started her career in publishing as a literary agent’s assistant in AJA Warsaw. She joined ANA Kyiv in August 2024 as Administrative Specialist. Ksenia’s biggest passion is exploring Ukrainian literature and traveling.
